Jessica's entry into the opera world, though beginning later in her academic career, has been marked by a rapid and profound engagement with the art form. Her experience running the deck for the large-scale production of Maria Di Rohan provided invaluable technical training, while her following role as the Production Stage Manager for UNCSA’s Spring Opera Scenes '24 reflects her growing leadership and organizational skills. Her summer after as an Opera Assistant Stage Manager at the Brevard Music Center further expanded her skills, allowing her to contribute to a variety of full-length operas and a musical revue. This diverse hands-on experience highlights her versatility and dedication.
